L19725 Utilizing Microseismic Techniques for the Evaluation of Underground Gas Storage Reservoir Stability

$50.00

In light of the recent energy crisis, the desirability of storing fuels close to primary distribution areas has assumed an even greater importance than in the past. The natural gas industry is faced with the problem of locating and developing sufficient underground storage reservoir capacity in high demand areas to meet peak seasonal requirements.

Since it is economically desirable to store gas at the maximum possible pressure, studies to estimate optimum operating pressures for underground gas storage reservoirs and to evaluate their stability under such operating conditions.
