L22276 Study of Exhaust Emissions from Natural Gas Pipeline Compressor Engines
$50.00
This study builds on the results of a baseline emissions survey conducted by the Southwest Research Institute and sponsored by the American Gas Association. The baseline survey obtained a wide variety of data on the operating conditions and emission rates of gas turbines and reciprocating engines at rated speed and load under on-site field conditions. In this study, the results of the survey are used to estimate the role of gas transmission equipment as a source of NOx, CO, and hydrocarbon emissions, and to assess current control methods for reducing NOx emissions. This study only involves reciprocating engines and gas turbines over 1,000 horsepower.
