The objective of this effort was to develop a comprehensive design guide for the engineering and system design of pipeline risers intended for use at the design engineer level. This manual was prepared for the engineering and design for the following riser types: Conventional risers J-tube risers Reverse J-tube risers Bending Shoe risers Barefoot risers Catenary risers Buoyed risers Tensioned risers The guide contains riser system descriptions and design considerations related to installation and to operating and environmental considerations.
