PR-3-805-R01 A Comparative Study of the Calculation of the Remaining Strength of Corroded Pipe

A critical evaluation of the various criteria for calculating the remaining strength of corroded pipe vas proceed. The criteria evaluated include the ANSI/ASHE B31G, the proposed modification of the S31G, and the EPR first -yield criterion. Both the original B31G and its proposed modification were contributed by Battelle. The database for the comparison consisted of the results of the 78 burst tests that Battelle collected.
